Mass effect frozen humanity fanfiction

Since reapers are shown to spare species that aren't extremely developed, like all the current council races during the last cycle, or the yagh in this cycle, if humanity hadn't accessed mass effect technology, and all of the benefits that getting to galactic society granted, would we be considered advanced enough to harvest? The way that the reapers enacted their plans were to basically deep strike into the Citadel first which the protheans disruptedthen travel along the Mass Relays from there to inhabited systems. However, that's possibly dependent on the exact timeline -- the Protheans were apparently holding on for decades, or even centuries, before they managed to be completely wiped out.
