We are just a few weeks away from Halloween, which means we can start planning to dress up as our preferred characters from Netflix shows.
With such classes as De Prototyping, Textile Science, and Costume and Identity on offer at Otis College of Art and De, it's no surprise that when Halloween comes around every fall, skills learned from the curriculum are put to fun use for the Annual Halloween Costume Contest. This year, the costumes covered the spectrum, from spooky to kooky, and our judges had Otis halloween costume hard time narrowing down the finalists for scariest, most creative, and all-around outstanding prizes. Whether dressing up as a favorite video game character or a completely original creation, Otis College students turned it out for the Halloween Costume Contest. Hosted by Student Activities the contest is an annual tradition and prizes for the top three costumes are awarded by a panel of staff and faculty judges. Zombies, pop culture icons, and plenty of handmade costumes could be spotted at the Halloween costume contest. An Otis College tradition, the contest is sponsored by Student Activities and a panel of faculty judges award prizes for the top three costumes.
